Saved by the blood of the Lamb 

At least 4 of the 18 original rock/pop songs being worked and reworked by music pastor Don Cobb and THE WON are scheduled to be released shortly after Christmas. The first THE WON EP will bring a fresh opportunity to see what this unique band has up its collective sleeves.

After suffering a bizarre setback in the summer of 2010 wherein the entire hard drive of THE WON’s new CD was decimated and all material lost just weeks before it’s original release, Cobb and his wife Dawn and daughter Madison have taken several deep breaths and reworked what once was.

This new CD, beginning with this initial EP release, brings to the table all that the Cobb family has to offer musically, and surprisingly, Don says he is grateful for the opportunity to rework all 18 songs, despite the incredible work involved. “My vision and our vision today is much different than it was when this CD was originally scheduled for completion. My family and I are grateful for the opportunity to take a fresh look at these songs and reshape them in the way the Lord would have us do today, which is somewhat different than it once was”.

The battle has already taken place, although many of us forget and engage in it even today. Our Creator, who sent our Lord and Savior to show us the truth and teach us His ways, sent The One who saved us all. He won. We are His saved. We are the beneficiaries of his victory. He saved His most precious creation. Us.

Make no mistake: We are not The One.  He is The One. We are the saved. We are the object of His victory over Satan and death.

We are who He won. We are what He won. We are the won. We are THE WON.
